Today is the 34th anniversary of the opening of Flying Colors Comics in Concord CA.

All new enterprises start with the wide-eyed hope of something good, viable and sustainable.

The truth is this:

* 65% during the first 10 years.
* Only 25% of new businesses make it 15 years or more.
